Fish Filler, commissioned by the Braddock Heights Pool Association to
design and build a site-specific, filler spout. The design had to comply with State Health
Department and Local Plumbing Codes as well as protect the typically vulnerable
and dangerous fill piping – 1991
Point of Rocks Veterans Memorial, first public monument,
designed and fabricated as a community project.
Constructed of timbers and panels and pays tribute to deceased veterans
from WWI to present – 1982

Honors
Baker Park
Sundial,
Frederick, Maryland, A finalist in the city’s inaugural public art competition,
the proposed design was a large-scale, interactive timepiece that chronicled
local history and introduced visitors to earth science – 2003
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Associate Designer on
team assembled by Toby Mendez Studios.
Design was awarded Honorable mention, and the team was a finalist from a
field of one thousand competing for the National Monument on the Mall in DC –
2001.
